CozyBlanket offers a comprehensive suite of tools for model preparation and optimization. It includes features such as manual retopology, seam-based UV unwrapping, manual packing, normal map and vertex color baking. This versatile app allows you to manually prepare high-poly models for various applications, including animation, video games, real-time rendering, and surfacing.

One of the standout features of CozyBlanket is its ability to bring the technical and manual work of creating 3D assets from your desktop to your iPad. With its minimal UI and innovative user experience, tasks like retopology, UV editing, and baking become enjoyable and game-like processes. Whether you're on your sofa, on a train, or sipping a hot chocolate at your favorite cafe, CozyBlanket enables you to work on your 3D assets from anywhere.

CozyBlanket is designed to handle high-resolution meshes from scans and desktop DCCs on mobile devices. Its performance is largely determined by the available memory on your iPad.

One of the key advantages of using CozyBlanket is its ability to import high-poly sculpts and export game-ready assets without common pipeline issues, such as scale mismatches, tangent space errors, and snapping artifacts.

CozyBlanket takes a unique approach to retopology, UV editing, and baking. While it is beginner-friendly and approachable, it offers powerful tools that can be learned by observing the app in action. In addition to its intuitive interface, CozyBlanket provides instructive tutorial slides and an Action Gallery to help users discover advanced features.

All of CozyBlanket's tools are optimized for Apple Pencil and multitouch screens. When performing retopology, you can create new quads, patches, and grids by directly drawing on the high-poly mesh. Likewise, multitouch gestures can be used to transform UV coordinates and texture positions on the 3D mesh.

CozyBlanket Standard version supports network functionality, allowing it to be integrated with desktop software and pipelines through streaming geometry over the local network. This eliminates the need for exporting and transferring files between devices. Additionally, CozyBlanket provides a fully scripted network protocol that can be tailored to fit the requirements of studio pipelines and custom tools.
